Round, oval and elliptical precision tube in 0.6 mm to 3.2 mm wall
Cold rolled precision tubing is engineered for tight-tolerance, clean-surfaced applications where the tube is formed, bent or plated downstream rather than simply installed.
The range covers cold-rolled light-wall round tube (0.60 mm to 2.00 mm), precision ERW round tube for heavier mechanical duty (0.80 mm to 3.20 mm), and specialized oval and elliptical profiles. The surface is finished to take chrome plating directly, and the steel chemistry is selected so it bends and draws without splitting at the weld.
Round tube complies with BS 1717:1983, BS EN 10305-3:2010, EN 10296-1:2003 and ASTM A513. Oval and elliptical sections are manufactured to the mill's own standard. The works is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and CE marked, and every bundle carries a guaranteed tube count.
